The State Property Fund has designated October as the pivotal month for the resumption of large-scale privatization. Four significant assets will be put up for auction. This was stated by the Head of the SPF, Dmytro Natalukha, in an interview with RBC-Ukraine, as reported by Property Times.

The State Property Fund of Ukraine (SPF) has identified October 2026 as the key period for recommencing large-scale privatization. During this month, four major auctions are planned for the sale of state-owned and sanctioned enterprises.
- October is set to be the month of large-scale privatization – the State Property Fund will conduct four auctions.
- The series of tenders commences on October 13th. On this day, “Sumykhimprom” will be offered, followed by the Odesa Port Plant on October 19th.
- Auctions for the sale of sanctioned assets will take place on October 20th: “Motordetal-Konotop” and Demurinsky GZK will be auctioned concurrently.
- The annual privatization revenue target has already been met by 63% through small-scale privatization.
According to Dmytro Natalukha, October will indeed be the month for major privatization initiatives:
- On October 13th, the fund will put “Sumykhimprom” up for sale;
- On October 19th – the Odesa Port Plant (OPZ);
- On October 20th – two sanctioned assets simultaneously, “Motordetal-Konotop” and Demurinsky Mining and Processing Plant.
Meetings of the auction commissions to determine the precise conditions and parameters for the October tenders began in the latter half of July.
The Head of the SPF clarified that the auctions for the sale of sanctioned enterprises will initially operate under the English auction system – meaning bidding will exclusively be on the upward price.
Should no participants appear, the first auction will be deemed unsuccessful, and subsequent tenders will be announced – this time with a descending price, starting with an initial discount of 50% from the reserve price.
The Ministry of Finance and the government have tasked the SPF with ensuring 2 billion UAH in privatization revenue for the budget in 2026.
According to the head of the fund, the target has already been achieved by 63% – 1.26 billion UAH has been raised through small-scale privatization efforts.
